SQL DBA

• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments. • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and stored procedures. • Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities. • Perform database patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance. • Troubleshoot database issues and support incident resolution. • Ensure database security, user access management, and compliance with organizational standards. • Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure high availability of business-critical systems. • 3–5 years of SQL Server DBA experience. • Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. • Experience with backup/recovery, replication, and high-availability solutions. • Good understanding of database security and access controls. • Experience with monitoring tools and production support processes. • Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell or SQL scripts. • Experience in Credit Card, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services domains. • Exposure to cloud database platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus. • Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
